With barely six weeks to go for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Phase-I which is scheduled to be conducted from 6th to 11th January 2020, it is time to follow a disciplined preparation plan for JEE (Main) 2020 and focus on what is absolutely necessary. The following information can help you devise an effective strategy to achieve a phenomenal percentile score in JEE (Main).
SUBJECT-WISE STRATEGY:
Physics: To score in physics you have to be fast, accurate and smart. Using discretion and picking up the right questions during the exam is very important and should form a part of your exam strategy
Chemistry: Maximum attempt with maximum accuracy is required. Chemistry is highly scoring if preparation is strong. All three parts, Organic, Inorganic & Physical should be given equal weightage.
Mathematics: Cover the syllabus thoroughly. Solve as many time-bound problems as possible during practice sessions. Solve previous years’ question papers to understand the types of questions asked.

Apart from that, dedicate time to solving at least one mock test a day.

Only knowledge of concepts or memorizing the formulas or equations will not suffice when it’s about qualifying the JEE (Main) exam. You need to learn how to apply the concepts to problems. You need to understand how to use the formulas or solve the equations. For that, it is imperative to practice the application of concepts, formulas & equations by solving as many questions as possible.

Solving previous years’ question papers not only familiarize you with the exam pattern, types of questions asked, difficulty level, etc. but also helps you identify your weak areas. Additionally, you can evaluate your level of preparation; determine the time spent on each question and work on your speed and accuracy.
