If you are one of the 12 lakhs (approx.) students who were not able to clear JEE Main 2020 January Result, but still feel that Engineering is your true calling, there is absolutely nothing to be dejected about!
To start with, please be assured that not clearing JEE Main 2020 does not mean the end of the world. In fact, there are other roads to success which lead you nowhere except being successful

JEE Mains or couldn’t qualify the JEE Main 2020 January exam.
1. Appear for JEE MAIN 2020 April Session
JEE Main is held twice a year and best of the two exams is taken.
So yes, another opportunity is waiting for you to give your best in the April JEE Main Exam 2020. The registrations are in process for the same (open till 07th March).

2. Appear for other prominent Engineering Entrance exams
Besides JEE Main, there also are a lot of good options like State Level Engineering Entrance exams such as AP EAMCET on 24th April, UPSEE on 10th May and OJEE in May.
Applications for most of these exams are open and qualifying them with good marks will ensure admission to engineering seats in State-Based Universities and good private engineering institutions.
3. Explore other options that warrant a good alternate career choice
If you are among the ones who got average or low ranks/percentile, you should remember that if not IIT/NIT, you might want to select the best option available.
However, please be careful while choosing an engineering college. Always go for the option that imparts quality education.
Try considering parameters like placements, infrastructure, faculty, curriculum, alumni base, accreditation, ROI, etc. before making the final selection.
4. Consider non-engineering options too
Although being an engineer is a paying off career choice, the non-engineering options realms are in demand too.
Success can be achieved through non-engineering options too.
Courses like BCA, MCA, BSc, or courses in any other field also offer good career choices and high earning jobs.

5.Reattempt next year
If you are determined that engineering is the only choice for you and none of the above options serve your purpose, perhaps due to lack of preparation this time, you can consider dropping a year.
However, we would certainly recommend to keep a plan B in mind, and if this point is your say, you might consider enrolling yourself into a diploma course or a distance programme to make sure this year is utilized.
Just Never settle and never sulk. Keep on trying for what you want in life!
