In order to achieve your goal you need to push through the barriers and consistently work hard. Shah Shrut Miteshbhai, a student of Aakash Medical, secured AIR 662 in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2018. He believes that Aakash changed his life and helped him to realize his dream. Let’s read further to find out how an average scorer in ANTHE (Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam) experienced a tectonic shift in his academic career and how Aakash helped him to make it to one of the recognized medical colleges in his city.
I have always believed that success doesn’t happen by chance. It takes strategic actions in the right direction in order to achieve your goal. I always wanted to become a doctor. When I joined Aakash, my foremost goal was to crack the NEET exam. I did not score a great rank in ANTHE. However, it did not stop me from working hard towards achieving my goal.
I believe Aakash changed my life. The study package provided by Aakash helped me to prepare in a better way. It contained illustrative theory and application based questions which are important to prepare well for competitive exams such as NEET and AIIMS. Moreover, it covered both NCERT syllabus as well as additional important topics that have been tested in exams.
With that, I found the faculty at Aakash quite experienced. The teachers were outstanding and were always there to help me. They always motivated me to study, cleared my doubts and provided with valuable suggestions which helped me to work on my weaknesses.
I was not very good at Physics. I always found it tough. However, I overcame that by practising as many questions as possible, regularly getting my doubts cleared, solving previous year questions and thoroughly solving the study package and test materials provided by Aakash. Moreover, the regular tests that were conducted helped me to know the areas I was weak in and improve on them.
I also took the All India Aakash Test Series (AIATS). It gave me an opportunity to test my knowledge at All India Level. It provided an atmosphere similar to that of a competitive examination. Initially, I found it difficult to make a score in the AIATS. But gradually after attempting more and more tests, I found it very competitive. The difficulty level of AIATS, types of questions asked, as well as the exam pattern was at par with NEET/AIIMS.
Further, the Doubt Clearing Sessions were quite helpful. Apart from that, whenever I used to miss any lecture or have any doubts regarding any topic or perhaps required a deeper understanding of any concept, I always relied on Aakash iTutor which provides recorded video lectures by experienced Aakash Faculty.
There were also times especially a few days before the exam when the pressure to perform was really high. However, I always used to stay calm and stick to my preparation strategy. Thanks to Aakash I personally did not find it troublesome to prepare for entrance and board exams simultaneously. I used to study for 6-7 hours daily. I feel my preparation could have been better if I had taken care of some silly mistakes. However, I do feel that the efforts put in by my teachers and other staff members at Aakash were enough to help me succeed in my career goal.
I owe 100% of my success to Aakash. From an average student to an aspiring doctor, Aakash turned around my fate. It built my confidence level, improved my academics and helped me to work hard towards my goal of becoming a Doctor. I believe every medical aspirant who wishes to crack NEET or AIIMS should join Aakash as the practice and learning you get here helps you to not only prepare well for the exam but also make you more disciplined in life.
Thank you
Shah Shrut Miteshbhai
