The Medical Counseling Committee will start the All India Quota counseling as well as the Counseling for Deemed Universities from June 13, 2018, onwards. This is as per a notification schedule released by the MCC on June 8, 2018. Candidates will also be able to register for the first round of the NEET AIQ and Deemed counseling till June 18.
A total of 7,14,562 candidates qualified for NEET counseling 2018. The counseling of NEET 2018 will be conducted by the DGHS for AIQ seats in two rounds and for Deemed and Central universities in three rounds. The first round of NEET 2018 counseling for AIQ and Deemed/Central universities will be conducted from June 13 onwards and the second round will be conducted from July 6 onwards. The process of seat allotment will take place on the MCC Server on June 20 and June 21 while the result of NEET first round seat allotment will be declared on June 22. Candidates will be then required to report to their allotted colleges between June 23 and July 3, 2018. The seats which will remain vacant after two rounds of NEET counseling 2018 for AIQ seats will be transferred to the respective state counseling authorities by July 23, 2018.
The second round of AIQ and Deemed and Central Universities counseling will similarly take place between July 6 and July 22, while a mop-up round exclusively for Deemed and central Universities will be conducted between August 12 and August 26, 2018.
NEET counseling 2018 for the remaining 85% state quota seats (100% in case of J & K) in Government medical and dental colleges and seats in other private and self-financing institutions in all states will be conducted by the respective state counseling authorities. All the candidates will have to register separately with different counseling authorities for participating in NEET 2018 counseling process.
The NEET Exam was conducted on May 6, 2018. Only those candidates who have qualified for NEET 2018 by scoring the minimum qualifying percentile will be called for counseling of NEET. Candidates will need to score a minimum of 50th percentile (40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to qualify NEET and become eligible for NEET 2018 counseling and admission.

NEET AIQ Counseling Procedure
Counseling of NEET 2018 for AIQ seats will be conducted in two rounds in online mode. After the result of NEET is declared, interested candidates will be required to register themselves for participating in AIQ counseling of NEET, after downloading their NEET 2018 rank letters issued by CBSE. Given below is the AIQ counseling procedure:

Choice filling and locking (Round 1): After registration, candidates will have to choose the courses and colleges of their preference and finally lock-in their preferences in the online portal.
Seat Allotment Result (Round1): The result of the first round of AIQ seat allotment will be published online on the basis of available vacancies and candidate’s choices. The seat allotment result of AIQ first counseling round will also be made available here.
Reporting to college against round one allotment: Candidates who will be allotted a seat in NEET AIQ first counseling round, they will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities, before the last date of reporting to the college. Candidates who choose to accept the allotted college in round one will also be eligible to participate in NEET 2018 AIQ counseling second round, provided they express their willingness for the same.
New Registration (Round 2): Before the second round of AIQ counseling of NEET 2018 begins, AIQ registration facility will be open for the candidates who couldn’t register in the first round of AIQ counseling.
Fresh Choice Filling and Locking (Round 2): Similar to AIQ counseling round one, candidates will be given a chance to enter new choices and prioritize their course and college preference in the portal. Finally, candidates will be required to lock their preferences before the last day.
Seat Allotment Result (Round 2): MCC will then publish the result of seat allotment of second round of AIQ counseling detailing the ranks admitted on AIQ seats and the colleges in which they have got admission.
Reporting to college against round two allotments: Candidates who will be allotted a seat in the second round of 15% AIQ counseling will be permitted to vacate their seats as per the orders of the Supreme Court of India.

- Eight passport size photographs
- Provisional allotment letter generated online after allotment
- Community certificate (if applicable)
